About

I write R for fun & profit.

Kennedy Mwavu

Software Developer

I started programming in my second year at the University of Nairobi. I picked up R for a statistics class. It was my first programming language, and it just clicked. I found it elegant and beautiful. I was completely drawn in, and ended up switching my career from Actuarial Science to Software Development. Later, I took a look at other languages and realized R was... quirky. This only fueled my interest in R, and at this point I think we're bound to each other.
